1. The black marble produces the best photo realistic image. The black granite tends to be a little grainier. This does have a great effect on images that are older. At times this is the material to go with. If you desire you can have our professionals chose the material that best suites the image.
   

2) How long will the etching last?

1. The etchings that we create will last as long as the stone they are created on.
   

3) Can you etch on white marble?

1. Yes we can. The white marble tends to have variation in shades of white and small veins. Etching on white marble is particularly suited to line art. It also has the unique advantage of being able to choose what color you want your etching to be in.
   

4) How long will it take to get my etching?

1. Typically less than ten days from the time we receive your artwork.
   

5) Do you accept credit cards

1. Not at the present time. Since the best etchings come from high quality photographs that must be sent in we prefer to accept checks at the same time
   

6) What kinds of photographs work the best?

1. A high quality 8x10 works the best. The image needs to have good contrast and be in generally good condition
   

7) Will I get my photograph back?

1. We will return your photograph with the etching. However, we suggest that you do not send priceless and irreplaceable photographs. You can have copies made of these or scan them onto a disk at your local Kinko's. If you send in a disk please scan the image to at least 300 dpi.
   

8) Can you do custom design work?

1. Of course. We have highly skilled graphic artists that can combine photos and create any effect that you are looking for.
   

9) Do I have to have a 12" tile?

1. That is our standard size. We will be glad to create any size or shape that you would like. This will, however, extend the lead time and create additional charges.
   

10) Can I display these outside?

1. Yes, all you will need to do is seal the tile with an over the counter sealant or we can do it for you.
   

11) What else can you do?
